Golden Milk

So much goodness in one cup!

Turmeric is a uterotonic herb, meaning it helps to gently stimulate the uterus, assisting it in returning to its pre-pregnancy size. The active compound, curcumin, has powerful anti-inflammatory properties that support recovery after birth. -

Cinnamon - a warming, aromatic spice that helps to increase circulation to the body, assisting the healing process and improving digestion.

Ginger - an effective lactogenic herb, meaning it helps to support a healthy milk supply. It's also wonderful for improving digestion, essential after birth, as a woman's digestive system can be weakened.

Collagen Powder is a valuable supplement for postpartum recovery, offering numerous benefits to new mothers. Rich in essential amino acids, it supports the healing and repair of tissues. Additionally, it promotes healthy hair and nails, which can be affected by hormonal changes after childbirth. I love how simple yet powerful this recipe is! Still making this three years postpartum!

1 cup hot water

1 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1/4 tsp cinnamon powder

1/2 tsp ginger, freshly grated

1/2 tsp honey or maple syrup
